Belneftestrakh was established in June 1996 in accordance with the decree approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on June 12, 1996, No 568p and registered with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus on September 12, 1996, under No 0001.

Since its establishment, Belneftestrakh has become the company on a national scale, which provides insurance to its customers and partners in every region of Belarus and abroad.

Today, Belneftestrakh is placed fourth among largest and dynamically developing insurance companies. Besides, Belneftestrakh is the first company in the Republic of Belarus, which has begun to sell insurance policies via the Internet («on-line insurance").

As of 01.10.2011, the authorized fund of Belneftestrakh is BYR 14 010.0 mln, equity – BYR 30 495.4 mln.
